Our position is 44:50:14N 62:36:65W
We are anchored in a small bay with a few houses. We suspect that they are mostly holiday homes. They are definitely not worthy of mobile phone services - there are none.
The sailing here was perfect. We left fairly late from Halifax, but did 50nm before 1800. The sun was shining (no fog), the sea was calm and Necessity was making seven knots. The coastline is scenic, but quite challenging, much like much of the Norwegian coastline. We hope for similar conditions tomorrow and a possible run up to the north-east end of Nova Scotia.
