After a great night’s sailing in ESE 12-18k we now have a bunch of rain clouds about and a light northerly.  Motor-sailing until hopefully the trades come back soon.

 

Highlight last night was that 2 large sea birds managed to get a grip on some of the structure on our wind gear on TOP of the mast while under full speed going about 7k and proceeded to have huge arguments about whose spot it really was.  It took a bit of get rid of them.

 

we expect to make land fall tomorrow and wont send another report until we are at anchor.
