Day 9 - Postcards From Pi-Squared

We are progressing well and making good speed towards St Lucia. Today we are presenting postcards from Pi. More details on the race tomorrow.

To Mum, Dad, Annie, Family and Friends

Hello from somewhere in the Atlantic! I made it! Having a fantastic time. Quite surreal really and so much more than I expected. (S.J., Hey Girl, I owe you big time! Will buy you dinner in Sydney next year!). 9 days gone, 6 to St. Lucia. Strange that even without alcohol I still awake with unexplained bruises! Love you all, hope you are enjoying the blog, look forward to catching up soon. Peace out. Lynn xxxx

Family and Friends

Having a brilliant time. Enjoying the sunshine and the storms, calm seas and big swells, sunrises and sunsets.......
Working hard but finding plenty of time to relax with a great crew. Lots of fun being had by all. Hope you are all well. Missing you lots. Big kisses and lots of love, Sophie xx

Love to Mum, Dad and Janine

Hope you are all well as are we. We have skirted around a 600 mile wide area of calms (which explains our course south) and are now heading west towards the Windward Isles. Currently writing this in light swell and lots of sunshine (water temperature 27 degrees!). Have you changed you flights? SC x

Storms, sunshine (35 degree heat). Scary at times. Certainly different. Speak to you about the 15th December. Father

Oh my god, are we there yet??? There's a whole lot of water out there and without a decent crew one could easily go mad - where's that white coat? Love to all, Fin

Day turns to night and in to day again - watch schedules come and go - slowly we are ticking off the miles to go for St. Lucia. Life on board has its own rhythm. Some days are spent being busy on deck or below - but always filled with watching water, clouds and stars passing us by. We will be in St. Lucia in a weeks time - looking forward to the Rum Punch. Love to everyone, Penny

The Beamish's and all.

Heading towards St. Luica and should be there in the next week or so, but wots the hurry. Oh i figured out what i was goin to do mid Atlantic, "tropical fesh water rain shower" ummm fresh water. Dear Friends,

from our course you can see that we took a much more southern route than the mainfield, because we hope to find better winds down there. If it pays off we will see in the next couple of days, if not we are f....d. Wish us luck!

Liebe Freunde,
