Currently tied up to Sandra K in Wollongong 34:25.27S 150:54.43E

Enjoyed our week at Jervis Bay – ended up being a bit longer than originally planned however, can’t complain about a few extra days in Jervis.

We had a bit of a battle getting there as we had about 2kts of current against us from Ulladulla to Jervis which makes travelling very slow – we are hoping it lets up a bit as we move north.
One good thing about the current is that the water has warmed up considerably and we are now able to swim and shower off the back of the boat

Spent the first few days on a mooring down at ‘Hole in the Wall’ where we did some nice walks including the walk around to Murray Bridge, down to Green Point and the Military area and also a nice walk to the historical light house.  We even managed to fit in lunch at the Huskisson Pub which was rather pleasant way to spend an afternoon.

We then moved up to Hare Bay which is at the north end which is much more suitable in the northerly breezes.

We were up early this morning hoping to make it through to Port Hacking but things just didn’t work out so we are tied up next to Sandra K in Wollongong

It is on tomorrow to Sydney – have our spot already booked at the CYCA.

Looking forward to catching up with my Great Nephew (Miles) who arrived last week (as well as his parents J) and also Oscar and Graciella from Zenitude.

More to follow soon
