Uneventful trip from Nazare to Peniche, There is heavy fog forecast for Wednesday and we would rather be in Lisbon so have decided to push off again first thing in the morning which makes paying for a marina seem like a waste of money however according to the pilot book anchoring is not allowed.  After a quick reccie of the harbour and a chat to a local boat on a private mooring we decided that the private mooring bouy (Annie) next to him was vacant and we borrowed it for the evening.   Shortly after attaching ourselves to said buoy there was an armed policeman standing on the swim platform wanting to see our papers.  He wasn't at all bothered about where we were, just doing his formalities an an extremely friendly manner.  Indeed he even suggested that if the owner did return then we could simply anchor in the same area which is what the guys in Nazare had told us but we were not sure where as no one else was at anchor.

Definite photo worthiness, Denise spotted a boat that has more fenders than us, outrageous.
