The wind is very light so progress is slow – we reviewed yesterday’s performance and have decided we could do more to improve our speed if we are going to get there before one of us becomes a cannibal...... mind you Claire does look tasty this morning.  The weather forecasts are indicating little wind for a couple of days so we have set the mainsail, genoa, mizzen and mizzen staysail so now we doing 3 knots!

 

Last night we laid a table in the cockpit for dinner, Claire cooked mince, potatoes and carrots and we sat there watching the setting sun.

 

We’ve found the water leak on the engine, just a weeping flange gasket so that is a relief.  There is gasket material on board so its going to be a job for later.
