After a very gentle trip up the ICW from Palm Beach we spent last night anchored in Peck Lake where we went ashore and walked the ocean beach.  This morning we moved north again and found a mooring at the bottom of the Okeechobee Waterway at an attractive little town called Stuart.   The trip up was enlivened by the sight of eagles nesting in the reserves.  On the way we continued to be stunned by the vulgarity and size of the property lining the waterway........the Florida lifestyle is so staggeringly different to the UK!
