It’s just turned midnight local time and we are sailing fast in a stiff breeze in a cross sea that every few minutes gives us a good thump before covering the decks with spray.  The island of St Vincent is behind us and in a few hours we will draw level with St Lucia.  Our target is Rupert Bay on the north west corner of Dominica where we hope to get a short rest at anchor before heading either for Guadalope or direct to Antigua.

We had discussed stopping at many of the islands on this passage but because of time constraints we have decided to visit only a few of the more interesting places.......we can save the others for another trip, perhaps next year.

Claire cooked us a delicious dinner of minced beef, potatoes, carrots and cabbage.   How she does it at this angle with the boat bouncing around beats me!
