Following a week waiting for a decent weather window the wind eased this morning and after a short run from Oriental to the Beaufort Inlet we headed back out into the Atlantic.  With no particular plan other than to get to Florida in time for our flight home for Christmas we have decided to closely follow the coast staying out of the negative current of the Gulf Stream.  So tonight we are heading towards the shallow banks of Cape Fear before taking a more inshore route tomorrow morning.
