We have just turned north out of the Gulf Stream to head to the Cape Fear Inlet and up to the town of Wilmington where there’s a customs post for us to clear in.  The cold front and strong winds will arrive on Wednesday so we have decided to take Moonstone into the Intra Coastal Waterway in order to cut of the corner around Hatteras to reach to the Chesapeake.  We are under full sail but unless the wind picks up we will be lucky to make landfall before supper on Tuesday evening!
