Overnight anchorage in civilisation......well there’s at least fifty really local residents in Fox Town and consequently no Canadian “snowbirds”.
We have the anchorage to ourselves, not surprising as it is worthy of the Brittany coast as a challenge as you pick your way through the multitude of rocks, all unmarked and with only 4” under the keel.
Claire plays a vital role as lookout on the bow spotting coral heads.
Going ashore Max, our boat boy, took personal charge of our dinghy at the dock ($5), unfortunately we would have to wait to get petrol for two hours (‘cos of power cut) but we managed to buy a Bahamas SIM card for our phone from the grocers (despite the gloom in the shop) and we then sat on the Government Pier watching reef sharks patrolling (decided to forego a swim tonight!).
