‘Moonstone’s Law’ is that either the wind or current will be always be on the nose and if you are really unfortunate you will have both.

After a long day of motoring we anchored off Boot Key last night to be treated to a wonderful sunset and this morning to a stunning red ball moonset.

Another day of motoring and we are anchored just south of Rodriquez Key........as usual we seem to act as a magnet to all passing vessels and suddenly this peaceful anchorage is becoming rather crowded.  At this time of the year there is an equal amount of sailing traffic heading north and south, some to return to the far north for the summer, some heading south to avoid the hurricane belt.

Hopefully we have some wind in the right direction tomorrow so that we can surge north on the Gulf Stream
