Another cold front has been forecast for tonight and it will bring strong winds from the north west so we are in the marina at Cayo Largo, a holiday resort on Cuba’s south coast.  After a week or so of not seeing another  yacht suddenly we are surrounded by charter catamarans full of ageing, pasty, overweight Germans.
As it is an ‘all inclusive’ resort we were surprised to find the bars and small restaurants very reasonable.  Alas the wifi is still rubbish but we managed to make a post on Facebook so the world know we are still afloat.   Skype calls are still impossible but we will try again tomorrow to speak to our Mums.
It is not at all bad, the sea is an incredible turquoise and the temperature of a bath.........and the cool rain showers a blessing!
We have to decide where to head next, perhaps further east along Cuba’s south coast or should we head south to the Cayman Islands......decisions, decisions...
