Motor then sail 28 miles to Gallipoli. Snag a fishing pot somewhere along the way that makes itself know just before we enter the harbour. Quickly drop the anchor, sort it out in a few minutes and we are on our way.

Gallipoli was once the leading olive oil market in the Med. Interesting island city with stunning carved stone on the front of the Cathedral in the centre of the old town. Take med moor in harbour to the north side of the causeway to the island. A bit expensive (E110/night) as it is a superyacht facility.
