We were planning to go Sunday, but my bag - due in from Paris didn't arrive
on Saturday, not Sunday. So, we'll forget the dang bag. Huge shoping trip
on Saturday, diesel fuelling Saturday pm, hull scraping (to clear barnacles
and give us good speed) Sunday morning, fruitless bag chasing on Sunday
afternoon, and we set off from St Martin this morning.. Anchored off
Anguilla to haul up the dinghy and found the generator has overheated and
cut out, hence another hour or so fitting a new impeller. The impeller
might be susceptible to the scraped-off barnacle debris - scrape the
barnacles and within a day or so the impeller goes pop, it seems.
Off sailing soon. Dee asks if there an indicator of Distance to Go.
Sideshow Marc agrees that's just asking "are we nearly there yet". No, we
aren't
