Georgina.

Thanks for you general purpose email about support from mailasail. I think
you sent another two similar emails whilst we were in Las Palmas offering
the same supporty services. You're the people that do the email service wassername for the phone and obviously yerknow since the phone works and so does the blog and getting yoor email and such, well, it's all fine, as before.

I usually find that it's about now after THREE FREAKIN ADVERT emails that i
go a bit apeshit. I mean, could you possibly jack this in? This
didn't happen last year. Are you new? I have support so i'l get in touch
when i need it. Sorry, it just took me three attempts to get mail thru -
only to find that it's your advert jamming things up!!

Sorry. I'm sure you're a very nice person. But i mean for crissakes if the
satphone doesn't work - how the heck would we pick up your advert for
support in the first place, dyasee? Everyone who gets the advert doesn't
need it! Everyone who DOES need the services you offer... can't see it!

I sent a similar rant to an optician who sent reminder cards in very small
writing, the lunatic.

Sorry, but it is a bit sneaky u sending these emails realy, cos it costs all of
us recipients to receive them - it costs you nothing to send! I reckon i've
spent about three minutes picking up Mailasail "howdy" emails, which for
someone from Yorkshire is very painful. Each time to do a mailshoot -
kerboom, you've cost all your clients about £50 in total. Or more! You could just
send whammo mas emails every week - WHICH IS WHAT YOUVE BEEN DOING! So kindly pack it in.

Oh and and another thing - do you even exist? Georgina, fab name, bit ooer
... but there again so was "Julie Rogers" who did all our marketing a while
back - but she was a complete fabrication! Has that Ed Wildgoose just "made
up" a Georgina on the flimsy premise that we'll think phwoar, Georgina has
sent me an email!

If you do exist i spect you'll reply, and sorry for casting aspesions on um, youir very existence. BUT please chop off this message.from yr reply, thanks.

Finally you're on the blog. And the ARC blog as well! Soo, kindly reply
and tellus if you exist AND explain how this noodle-brained
marketing-at-boats-in-the -atlantic idea came up too! Because you might
have used up someone's very last few satphone minutes JUST as they were
cast adrift with only their phone (yes actually i CAN play the weepy
violin...) and well, i think you get the picture.

Sorry bout the ranting, i gave up smoking and the weather has been rubbish,
Plus someone sent me some junk email ... oh - as you were - that was you.
I'm not normally this bad, no seriosuly i'm not. Ok well, sometimes, a bit.

Hi 'MailASail'ors,

Just a brief note from all at MailASail to check that everyone is
getting on well, despite the unexpected weather conditions.

We usually find it's around now that people start to encounter
problems after testing their satellite phone equipment more rigorously,
but they are too nervous to ask for help... If you are having problems,
please don't just live with it - get in touch and we can help!

Remember your Iridium satellite phone should be able to do the
following:

1) Retains 5 bar signal consistently when connected to the external
antenna
2) Send/Receive 10-20 text emails (without attachments) per minute
3) Download an Atlantic-sized GRIB file (via our Weather Responder)
in around 3-4 mins
4) Download a small synoptic chart (via our Weather Responder) in
1-2mins
If the Iridium cannot do all of the above, there is something wrong
with your configuration - let us know and we can help!

Please either drop us an email to support {CHANGE TO AT} mailasail {DOT} com, or call us
at the office on +44 2070 432832 if you're able to, we'll be happy to hear
from you!

Please also remember you can top up your satellite phone at any time
by getting in touch. Top ups start from as little as 50 minutes of airtime
($75).

Happy Sailing from all at MailASail!
