After a 14 mile sail off the banks of the Turks and Caicos we finally reached open water before dark. It has been good sailing so far although a bit rolly (well more than a bit, it is a challenge keeping the nav chair which is on castors in one position to write this!). We have covered about 140 miles so far. We had stowaways on board again. as we moved some hatch covers that had been put in a pile in the cockpit while we were on the hard, hundreds ( well a lot anyway) of mosquitoes came zooming out, straight into the cabin. we spent the next few hours spraying and swatting, think they have all gone now!
Plans may be changing as there is a cold front due Thurs so we need to be in Florida by Wedsneday morning at the latest so will head for West Palm beach or other ports in that region.
