Deshaies, Guadeloupe - sort of!

We left Dominica yesterday in brisk winds heading for Les Saintes. Had a good sail until a squall hit us about half hour before we arrived, over 35 knots of wind but only lasted a few minutes and everything was OK fortunately. We were even more fortunate as half hour after we were safely anchored another squall came through, this lasted for about an hour, we couldn't see out of the windows the rain was so heavy.

Left Les Saintes this morning without setting foot on terra firma and had a lovely gentle sail today up to Deshaies at the North end of Guadeloupe. We will be leaving early tomorrow for Antigua to get there before some bad weather arrives Thursday so yet again will not be setting foot on land, there goes the French meal I promised myself this year. I have decided to swap it for a meal in New York when we get there - and I have told Roy McDonalds is not an option!
