The weather is much better today and the gales have gone. Michael is busy trying to mend the diesel boat heater which could be useful when we get further north. We have moved from the Sailing Club to the Yacht Club which only involved motoring for half an hour.

The Yacht Club is in a much nicer area and is based on a small Island

The Yacht Club is the Building with the pontoons radiating from it. It was built in 1900 and is well maintained. The above photo is hung in the reception so I just took a photo of a photo.

The chap in the foreground is the Skipper Michael. There are new pontoons here which is an improvement on the bows to mooring at the Sailing Club.

Included in the mooring fee are free ferry rides to the mainland. I have been and had a look at the Cathedral which is very impressive from the outside.

But somewhat plainer inside.

This was the jazziest bit I could find.
