Another version of the luxury vehicles we saw on the other side of the island. This was the only vehicle we saw.
We eventually came across this house in the forest. Still no sign of anyone. The remains of the pre- tsunami house were in the garden at the back. The new house is on much higher stilts.
The road eventually ended in this bridge which must have been washed away in the tsunami.
We returned to the beach and RS still not having seen any islanders.
