The last thing I noticed in Fethiye before we left was this duck ramp, no doubt paid for out of parliamentary expenses.

It is good that someone went to the trouble to  make this. We left Fethiye without clearing in to Turkey because it was a Sunday and everything was closed. Not a problem as Kas is also a port of entry. However, on the way we stopped in Kalkan and my friend the harbourmaster told me that it was a Turkish Festival of the Sea. So we joined in dressing Minka in her code flags.

The only other boat dressed was the coastguard cutter. There was a rock concert organised at the harbour…..

……and some silly attempts to bring in posh boats that couldn’t fit.

He had to back out…..but didn’t miss much as the concert was not what I expected and they only needed the front five rows of seats.

We motored the 15nm mile to Kas spotting this Rival on the way in.

That’s it…..we are now in Kas Marina enjoying the luxurious facilities waiting for immigration to sort out our papers.
