Good sail from Ko Muk - sailed over half the way. Approaching the anchorage could not furl the genoa. The block on the forward stanchion had disintegrated and got into the drum - locking everything up solid. We furled the genoa, after a fashion, by doing 13 full circles, and proceeded to anchor. Getting the drum off freed the issue. W e furled the sail and retired for a beer! The flogging in 15 knots breeze was enough - we wouldn't like to do it in a gale!
