Disaster, contaminated fuel tank. Sadly we have picked up contaminated fuel
in the tank somewhere between Hamble and here. It means that the tank will
need to be removed to be cleaned out, this can't be done quickly so things
are bleak. With no sign of any real trade winds kicking in our window to
cross with some of the crew having commitments elsewhere that are now in
jeopardy, has forced us to withdraw from the race. We are all very
disappointed, but the lack of trade winds from the beginning has ultimately
done for us. Thank you to all that have sponsored us and followed us, your
support is greatly appreciated by the Rainbow Centre a cause close to our
hearts.
We will be back in February where we will continue to the BVI!!!
