After a 2 day stop over at Marina Mindelo, in the Cape Verde we are off
again towards St Lucia. We departed about 10:30 local time and so far have
been steering straight towards St Lucia at about 6 knots. Has been a slow
start but hoping for the wind to come around behind us within a day or two.
It seems that most of the ARC yachts even if not stopping in the Cape
Verde's are still relatively close by as the wind has been unusually light
for a Trade wind crossing.
Ian managed to buy some fresh tuna steaks from the market this morning (as
Alex hasn't caught any so far!) so all looking forward to a tuna salad later
on tonight.
Matt says we will be keeping this up to date with what's happening including
some photos so keep on checking up on us!
