24hrs Run ~ 166 nms 1200 to 1200 hrs

Nothing really happening, we had a couple of squalls this morning and now the wind has steady up a little but I am expecting it to change later today. We are aiming to get into Sydney sooner rather than later to avoid the shitty weather!

The basis of my logic is that we get in by the morning of the 27th we will see less really shitty weather than we will do arriving 24 hrs at which point there is going to be some really uncomfortable winds around. To this end we are obviously getting weather up dates daily and I am studying them for an easier way into Sydney.

Steve and Bernie are both doing fine although on a few occasions Bernie has looked rather green! (in Bernie’s words he hasn’t found his sea legs yet!!? I'll let you all interpret that yourselves...LOL)

Generally spirits are high we are all eating well and Wilhelm is scooting along quite nicely, but not as fast as we would like but there are something's that can’t be changed by mankind, apart from of course a shit load of diesel, but as we have sufficient for the trip we can’t waste it powering at top speed all the way.

By the time I send this blog in we will be approx. 816 nms off North head, Sydney which should take us another 5 days.

Cheers
Mark, Steve & Bernie
