We left Dominica for Les Saintes. A lovely sail in sunshine and light winds. We picked up a buoy in Bourg des Saintes- no Boat Boys to help here!
It's a pretty, very French looking village.
Friday, we walked to Pompieres beach, a quiet place with picnic tables between the palm trees and goats and chickens wandering about. We all swam, but the beach had a lot of Sargasso weed washed up, so not too inviting. After that we walked up to Fort Napoleon for great views of the bay. back in town we had wonderful ice creams then stocked up at the small Carrefour.
