January 6th. We left at 12.00 from Tobago Cays for the 5 mile trip to Union Island. After a windy sail, we rounded the Pillar buoys marking the entrance to Clifton Bay, sheltered by a reef with a roundabout reef in the middle of the harbour. One of the boat boys helped us tie up to a buoy, close to Saorsa once again.

Union is a mecca for kite surfing, including amazing foiling kites which are flying up and down the reef just behind our boat. We rowed over to the man-made Happy Island bar in the evening to relax over a (very expensive) rum punch or two, with the cool surf dudes.
