Sunday 9th September.
We finally left the holding pontoon at 9.50 after nearly 2 hours trying to check out. The police came aboard to search for drones!
Luckily the tide is still with us, it's hot and sunny with a light NW wind, so the big yankee sail is up.

We are trying out a new watch system, 2 hours on, 6 hours off. Perfect weather for it, a moderate wind and clear night with the most amazing views of Mars and Jupiter, and countless star constellations. The dolphins also visit regularly during the night, so everybody has at least one show.

Arrived at Bouregreg Marina, up the river with Rabat on one side, and Sale on the other, where the marina is situated, after 129 miles.

Rabat is beautiful. We later got the rowing ferry across to explore the Souks and the Kasbah. Lovely winding alleys with blue and white painted house.
