As forecast, the wind filled in from the south around midnight and strengthened to 20-22 knots by early morning - a perfect beam reach, seas moderate (3-4 ft waves on the beam), Do logging a hat-trick of 8nm every hour on the morning watch - putting us for a dusk arrival at Beverly Port Marina (having already arranged to tie up on the fuel dock if after hours). Second breakfast of bacon sandwiches set the morning tone for a good sail.

Continuing under canvas (main reefed) throughout the afternoon and into early evening before. a mist again, just as we were approaching the shoreline!! Thankfully, only patches and were quickly able to identify the safe water bouy before sailing along the coastline inlet approaching Mystery Island. Numerous lobster pot markings kept us busy avoiding the lines before finally reaching the fuel dock and a safe tie up flying the customs quarantine flag for morning reporting and clearing in.

Another pre-prepared evening mail and wine finished off a 220 nm sail in less than 36 hours.
