First day of the long haul - skirting Boston in the rush hour (!) and through New York to cross the George Washing ton Bridge over the Hudson River at mid-day . heavy traffic! Nevertheless, our car picked up at Two Mile Landing Marina in Cape May NJ, hire car returned and checked in to a delightful Victorian hotel (Chalfonte - built in 1876) for an evening in Cape May's historic district.
