Beautiful clear blue sky day, a chance to take in the views of the condos surrounding the marina. And then a chance in the warming morning sun to thoroughly hose and scrub the decks to rid the salt build up.

Next to clean the anchors of the caked mud accumulated from our various locations. Trying not to deposit the mud on the dockside a disaster happened .. Part of the trusty Fortress anchor drops over the side . splash - gone to the bottom!! No choice, too expensive a piece to loose, suit up with the (just cleaned) wet-suit, goggles and snorkel - two attempts but too deep to dive without the aqua-lung assistance - 7m (22ft), of course this would be the deepest marina we have ever tied up in and high tide. Thankfully, we were told it was a rocky bottom so hoping it had not disappeared into any mud. Set-up the aqua-lung and hose - less than 100psi of air left in the tank - only one chance to retrieve the missing anchor piece. Success as the air was running out on the way back up with the piece firmly gripped! Back on board -, covered in tiny sea worms stuck to the wet-suit!

As the wind was gusting less, and no tide running, next task was to move Magic Friday to a more inside berth for the correct power pedestal. A tricky narrow dead end entrance, but plenty of help for dockhands and were secured quickly in our new slip with electric power!

No more jobs (or diving) for the day, a walk into the nearby town and a drink and snack at the local Anchor pub - more interesting folks to chat to at the bar to round off the evening.
