Well, an extra night at the Grand Dunes marina - thanks to the head catastrophically failing (as expected due to the belt noise - albeit a little earlier than expected). No matter, it was a nice quiet marina to arrange for another night stay and a very sunny day!

Just then a U.S. Coast Guard vessel entered the tranquil marina and moored directly astern of us . no less! A pleasant wave to the crew as they a passed by. No problem as we had registered our small vessel movement the day before . phew!!

So, head stripped down, parts ordered (on West Marine to be shipped to Morehead City NC by Friday of this week). Work on the starboard navigation light also done. Time for a bike and run to investigate the beach front a few miles east of the ICW marina.

On our return we discovered the dockside "Anchor Café" had re-opened (after the" inclement weather") to finish off sundowners and nibbles during happy hour. Evening on the boat (new episodes of "Death in Paradise" and an early night ready for an early (pre-sunrise) start.
