A leisurely morning start given a cloudy day with occasional rain drops. Down to the marina chandler (i.e. the liquor store) - only to find that many of the rum brands were sold out - evidently the U.S. regatta of boats that departed earlier in the week cleaned them out!! A chance to fill the dumpy European gas cylinders - although at a somewhat inflated price - good to have some back up in case we run out of places in the U.S. to fill the aluminum cylinder. Except that having agreed to two cylinders he never turned up - somehow, not surprised!

A small boat repair job - the light over the TV alcove had gotten wet at some time, connection rusted - a delicate re-soldering job and the light was soon fixed. Meanwhile, beer bread making on the go - a delightful smell from the oven as it cooked. Laundry done - that is for a small fee the laundery bag is dropped off at the bar and collected a few hours later, washed, dried and folded! Preparations for making sail on Sunday. All organised.
As the sun edged itself towards the far sea horizon, BBQ was lit, sundowners and beach (grass dockside) bowls in the fading light of the day. What could be better?
