Happy Easter! A gift mailed from Annelise (reading magazines - just as we were running out) and small easter eggs for me from Di! Then up for an early morning run and bike to explore the marina roads and canals before the wind strengthened and the sun's heat became too much.Past the (to be restored) Hemmingway hotel "The Old Man and the Sea" and out towards the marina entrance. Interesting to find the marina swimming pool - not closed at all - but fully occupied by (mostly) local Cubans enjoying their Easter Sunday! Back for Aunt Jemma's pancakes (after a mild panic search for the packet - thankfully found and enjoyed)!

Otherwise a restful day, organizing for departure tomorrow (advising the dock-master), arranging an early taxi to take us to the Hotel Commodorofor the bus (not agreed on the price - so will have to risk there are some early taxi's punting for business) and packing the lightest case we could!

Despite waves crashing over the sea wall near us the U.S. regatta toegtehr with our friends from Balck Swan will be elaving at first light - hoping for a calm start! We say our goodbyes before turning in for the night.
