A bright and sunny start. Still corresponding with Philippi re the "not-working-new" Tank and Battery Monitor - no success as yet though. Beginning to wonder if there is a fuse in the circuit somewhere (we have looked!) or even taking the starter battery out of the circuit has an effect ....we will only know when that arrives. Speaking of which - a shipment tracking number indicates that "NewPenn" shipping company (whoever they are - not sure what happened to UPS Ground) will deliver on Wedn 8th! Not as early as hoped - but at least it is on the way!

After a morning of admin / paperwork - time to get out, about and exercise! So, a trip across to Jekyll Island (our favourite) for a bike and run. This time starting mid-point on the east coast and heading to the south of the Island. Only intending to go part way - but not unusual for my runs we passed hotel and conference complexes, a beach village and a soccer ground (all almost entirely deserted - out-of-season) and our turn around point! So we made it all the way to the southern tip : St Andrews picnic area - a delightful beach. Couldn't stop too long as the midges were catching us up and biting! Back on the cycle path through the centre of the island, over boardwalks and across salt marshes back to "Tortuga Jack's" - a bar almost on the beach for a rest (oh and a drink and snack) before finishing the bike / run in the escaping afternoon - 8 miles round trip. It was good to get out.

Back to the boat for home-made curry and another Pirates finished off the day.
