A quiet night although plenty of topside checks on the marks to be sure we were still in the same place. Not sure if the sign we had read on the first passenger dock "Island Closed" was still relevant, we watched to gain sight of any ferry launches bringing tourists to the island - not so. Tractor sounds from within the depths of the island suggested that they are having to clear trees damaged by the hurricane. So, a day on the boat .... a morning reading catching up on paperwork, dolphin watching (a pod of 8-10 passing to stern and back again), an afternoon top deck polishing. The northerly string winds arrived (the forecast reason we had chosen a southerly trip) - a little rocky on the beam as wind and tide battled each other for Magic Friday's orientation! Nevertheless, an evening transom bbq was light and successfully cooked our evening meal under the dusky grey clouds. Another "Jeeves" episode and an early night after securing the anchor chain snubber.
