Monday morning - oh....and no work to go to - well, at least not the office job - perfect! So, a day to resume the boat work instead - alongside our neighbours polishing hulls, chain plates and general maintenance! Carburetor stripped down - possibly some fuel debris blocking the float and needle - so a quick trip to the local hardware store for carb cleaner (they seem to have everything - an "Open all House" corner store), Di doing more stainless steel cleaning and myself a try at splicing the fender line - quite successful (with the help of several u-tube videos playing in the background)! Rounding off the day at the Clubhouse "cocktail hour" chatting to fellow "mariners" and then a dockside BBQ as the sun tipped below the horizon. Thankfully - not "Another manic Monday..." for us on the boat!!
