After a very restless night (Di starting to sleep in the "cooler" saloon (only marginally) - we suspended the water ingression hunt for an air conditioner solution. Having been very kindly offered a spare air conditioning window unit (6,000 BTUs) by our other neighbours (Mike and Gloria) we set about getting the materials needed to attach it to one of the coach-roof hatches. A few hours later, some canny cutting and fixing insulating material around the open hatch, electrically wired direct to the dock 110V output - and bingo(!)..we began to feel cool air in the saloon - at last! A late evening BBQ as dark thunder clouds rolled by to the north with some spectacular lightening flashes - but no rain. What did it matter - we had an air conditioned boat! And a very good night's sleep ahead!
