A morning swim and hot-tub pre-breakfast substituted for a bike/run - what could be better! Then a morning watching the sea-planes taxi by and take off / land - as we discovered our slip on the end of a "T" was only 15-20 ft from the "water runway" - quite safe - but close enough to wave at the pilot and call "wash" as the plane accelerated by (makes a change to the wash of a motor launch skimming by)! A very pleasant skype with family (such a pity Liverpool lost), another swim to cool off in the afternoon before sundowners and a stroll through the hotel and casino to another part of the marina for an evening meal...ah - but everywhere was closed - is this peak season or not? The little shopping mall resembled a ghost town as shutters banged in the wind....pity, back tot he boat to dip into provisions for a pasta meal and a film instead - just as nice!
