Re-installed Genoa and jib. Oh - North Sails had repaired some sections of the jib and in doing so had sown over the batten pocket. Had to unstitch the repair and re-stitch leaving the batten slot unencumbered! Didn't expect to have to do that from a professional sail loft. (I sent them a note - but never got a reply..hmmm!). Time to go out and celebrate our anniversary (tomorrow) - to Frank's on Pawley Island (a recommendation from my boss). The town is famous for its string hammocks - we were tempted but not this time! However, Frank's was a great place, music and atmosphere in the garden seating was nice, food was excellent!
