Changed out both batteries - had to chisel the
batteries apart as they had fused together and even then had to cut some of the
seat structure to lever the batteries out (Hanse/Moody have subsequently changed
the design of the battery compartment....). Took the old ones to O'Riley's
Auto-Parts for re-cycling - they had never seen batteries this size (or in such
a shape)!
A timely visit from on old shipmate - Mike G
and his lovely two daughters (Emily and Kendall) for an afternoon on the boat.
Timely, because Mike was able to help us lift the new batteries down into the
saloon ready for fitting later. Thanks Mike!
All connected and running at 12.6V again ...
perfect.
