A lazy, lazy day - at last! Well, a 5k run to start the morning - discovering more beaches, peach pancakes for breakfast and a slow morning start. the tender (Mini-Magic) blown up, outboard made ready and bike assembled for later - we were equipped! Off to the pool and beach for walks, swims and relax in the "ghost resort". Whilst it is called the Chub Cay Club and Marina - it would appear the "clubhouse" has not been finished (we surmised that the previous owner ran out of funds, the new owner has yet to re-start the development - preferring instead to build more private houses - serviced by the private airfield)! Not that we were concerned - there was the pick of the beach chairs, no-one in the pool – and the private beach almost empty (a few club residents), equally the marina (charging full Nassau Atlantis rates) remained 2/3 empty…! An afternoon walk to another beach, passing beachfront mansions with peacocks parading the grounds….. Sundowners on the boat, home-made pizza and a movie to end the relax day.
