All is well on board and we've sailed 1,200 miles since we set off a week ago today.
Having passed 105 degrees West yesterday we've entered the next time zone (15 degree increments of longitude), so we changed our 'boat time' back an hour. With two further adjustments to make, this should ensure we're in sync with local time on arrival.
To prevent too much confusion we also have an on-board clock set on Universal Time (UTC) or Greenwich Mean Time as was (currently boat time -7 hours). This format is used for our SSB Radio Net schedule. As ever, it's great to keep in touch with boats making the same trip, albeit several hundred miles away.
