We are now anchored in Spanish Waters and are enjoying the cooling breeze of the Trade Winds once again.  We have ventured in to the capital Willemstad a couple of times, when we first arrived on the island to check in at Customs and Immigration and then on our return from the UK to obtain our anchoring permit.  It has a very picturesque waterfront and, with its colourful Dutch colonial architecture, has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.  We’ll be sure to explore this lively and colourful place many times during our stay here.  There is clearly a diverse cultural mix here and our first impressions have been very positive.
