Uneventful 24hrs. Sailing with full main and Genny. Gybed at 8.30am as wind is shifting more East and at 10am went wing on wing straight downwind. By 12h00 the wind is even more east, and we’re back to normal with the Genny held out on the screecher sheets.
Laundry day, a nice warm breeze with washing hanging to dry in the cockpit.
Nicholas serviced the Watermaker as it’s delivering only 15 Gallons/hour instead of 25 Gallons/hour.
He found the pre filter brown with sediment, and this having been replaced in CT, it must be from being in the Berg River - which was quite brown…..
Wind ESE 12 Apparent. Swell 3-4m, Overcast nights and mornings, Sun only comes out in the afternoons.
Full moon, but we don’t see it due the the full cloud cover - very dark nights with no stars.
