We arrived in Jamestown, St Helena Island this morning at 4.30am local time, in the darkness.
We held off util first light, and then picked up one of the yellow mooring buoys and are waiting for Immigration and Customs to open so that we can go ashore to clear in. Since shortly after leaving the RSA coastline, we have been in our KVH Tracphone Satellite shadow, hence the silence for the past 10 days. Further, we’ve find that our local RSA simm cards do not work here, so we’ll buy local cards when we go ashore to get connectivity to send out all our blog updates and other emails.
All well aboard.
