We are still at the same anchorage,  just besides the Greenwich Marina.

Small maintenance jobs, here and there,  nothing special, nothing serious…
A lot of relaxing — since the weather is beautiful, and a lot of reading…
( Speaking about the reading… I finally finished Les Powels book,  ‘Solitaire Spirit: Three times around the world single handed’.  I can not say that I like the style of writing… But the book — kind of documentary about the subject in the title… Add to this that the person started as amateur sailor, and spent the rest of his life on the boat… ;-).  And you would probably understand my interest in the book… ;-) ).

The weather… It still puzzles me a lot…  No, I do not want to become the professional weather forecaster, specialising in Mediterranean… What puzzles me a bit — that I’m trying to get the weather forecasts over all published radio frequencies, and can get nothing…  Something just is not right with that…
Of course, I can go to windy.com,  etc, etc…. But those are proven to be not accurate in the area, and do not  give the local alerts…   So, to get the grasp on the weather — is still work in progress….

Location for the winter…  That question  is going and coming back again and again.  When it is as warm as it is now, and the sea is so beautiful — obviously one does not want to think about the winter time…  But… it is not so much about the particular place but rather the direction to go next…  I got a strange feeling, that further I’m going North — the prices in the marinas are going up, no matter how full they are…  At the same time, my friends found a place in Tangier, Morocco…   With the prices sounds magically attractive… But it is Morocco, and ‘on another side of the Gibraltar’…
So, I’m looking for the place, and for the strategy….

Observation of sailing boats around is confirming my earlier guess — a lot of motoring is done here… I find it funny enough that Les Powels  described it in his book, dating the middle 90s… So, nothing has changed since… regarding the weather! ;-)

The amount of ‘pan-pan’ calls decreased dramatically… My guess is - they are not broadcasting them here. Since most of the radio  stations are controlled remotely anyway,    they most probably limiting the transmutation by Cartagena area….

Meantime, I discovered that there is probably the military base around, with the canons firing range…  For 2 days I’ve been waking up with the cannon shooting…   ;-)
No, I do not think it was a firework — at least somebody mistaken the timing — at 0800 and 1000 in the mornings… ;-)

All news for now.
Everything is well, and under control.

Have a great day, talk soon.
