There is no need to publish the milage... We are doing  a disent  speed... and then the wind drops... and then we doing some speed... Beating, beating, beating...  We are moving towards the spot where the westerly winds would be picked up...   ( They say there is such spot...  I would like to stay optimistic, but for now --  all I can do, to give the 'reasonable doubts' that  it is not another fairy tale of the high seas... )...

I switched off the window  with VMG ( velocity made good ).  As  I said -- I  would like to stay optimistic and positve...

July 2nd,  the middle of the summer,  kind of the middle of Atlantic...  I'm wearing wool socks,  boots,  full set of  foul weather clothes on top of the regular one...  Finally I'm warm...  cozy warm...  Which create a challenge -- I would like to sleep...  ' Boat, dear... just 5 minutes, here in the cockpit...   -- No, we have to tack...  Better now before that squall hits us...  -- Ok... '

How to change the header into the lifter ?  Simple -- you tack on the header... stabilize the boat... and exactly at this moment -- the wind will change back again...  All 20+ knots of it...   4 tacks,  under the low, plumbum look skies... rain...  against swell...   And you can  self-confidently apply to any Lazer 28  racing team or the Cirque de Soliel... who ever get you first...  But I do not want to...  I want to close my eyes and to sleep...

'... North of Azores my have friequent calms... But the weather stays sunny and nice... '  Really?!  Let me check my position and fix...  Hmm... Somethng is wrong...  I'm  north of the Azores...  according the chart...  I can not separate the sky from the  dark greyish ocean... They look absolutely identical...  With water in the ocean, water in the clouds, and the water in between...

I see two possible explanations...
-- The authors were here,  went through what I'm going now, and decided to publish a good review, to attract more people... The old, well known Mark Twain's trick...
--  The authors were eating, drinking and/or smoking something different them me...  In such case, it would be nice to add  their menu to  the guide...

Finally, the Sun made through the skies...  The wind backed, pushing us further West...  Ok, no problem... we will wait until the next squall which is  2 miles away... It will fix it, it will bring the wind back...  We know that trick... We are not stupid...

And we are fine. We progressing.  With fun, with some interesting language sometimes,   in a good mood!

On that note,
Till next update...
