We made it without even a hint of bad weather,
although the wind was plus 25knots and on the nose most of the way.
Had a close encounter with a big container ship crossing our path at about
1am. John called him up on the radio to make sure he'd seen us and he
hadn't! No great bother we just had to go round the back of him but
the AIS (radar) came into it's own. As you can see from the pics the
weather is improving. The rainbow picture marks the transition!
