We'll we've spent
the morning looking at weather to make best way to St Lucia. Two days ago we
brought in the poled out head sail and was on a beam reach south to miss a
depression that would be a head of us in a couple of days. We have now turned
north west to miss strong winds south of us (well they will be there in 2
days). This we hope should allow us a good course into St Lucia.
For crew moral we have allowed gambling on board
and betting sweep is taking place for day of arrival, it looks like
this:

The prise has not been set todate, we'll see who
will put their money where their mouth is nearer the time.
We have now got into a routine on board. Changing
shifts each day, taking turns cooking and cleaning. So our attention has been
brought round to other things by Barbara. Being of Polish descent they
celebrate 'names day' rather than their birthdays (I will remind her in
January!). She didn't tell me until a few hours ago that her names day is
tomorrow.... So Kevin and I will have to entertain her by making cakes and
toughly spoiling her tomorrow.

home.
